Job Description

The Production Scheduler will be responsible for planning and scheduling work based on manufacturing capacity to ensure fluid production, efficient resource utilization, and timely customer commitment fulfillment.

This role involves preparing daily production schedules based on product capacity as well as arranging delivery runs by directly liaising with customers.

As a key member of the team, you will be expected to provide excellent customer service, manage difficult conversations, and troubleshoot solutions to improve the customer experience and meet their requirements.


Your Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintaining production schedules to ensure timely order completion based on customer demand, material availability, and capacity constraints.
  2. Working closely with customers, sales, production, and logistics teams to resolve any order-related issues and provide support.
  3. Communicating effectively with stakeholders regarding capacity issues and lead-time changes.

About You

To succeed in this role, you should possess strong customer service and administration skills, or previous experience in rostering or scheduling. A keenness to learn and a positive attitude towards extensive training are also essential.

You will need to be highly organized, able to multitask and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently. Additionally, you must be able to work calmly under tight deadlines and demonstrate enthusiasm for working in a rapidly changing and challenging manufacturing environment.
