Manufacturing Lead Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and oversee daily precast concrete production to meet targets.
  • Lead safety initiatives through regular audits and toolbox talks.
  • Collaborate with QA teams to resolve defects and implement preventative measures.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire production staff to foster a respectful, high-performance culture.
  • Manage materials and inventory to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
  • Trade Qualification or Engineering background.
  • Proven experience in precast concrete or similar manufacturing environments.
  • Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and risk management.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and production schedules.
  • Process improvement and Lean manufacturing exposure desirable.
  • Effective communicator with leadership and conflict resolution skills.
  • Familiarity with compliance registers, tagging systems, and incident documentation.
  • Forklift or overhead crane license (desirable).
