Job Description

This role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of a precast concrete production facility to meet set targets. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supervising production staff to ensure smooth operations and high-quality output.

The ideal candidate will have trade qualification or engineering background, with proven experience in precast concrete or similar manufacturing environments. Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and risk management is essential, along with the ability to interpret technical drawings and production schedules.

A key aspect of this role is leading safety initiatives through regular audits and toolbox talks. Collaborating with QA teams to resolve defects and implement preventative measures is also crucial. The successful candidate will be able to lead, mentor, and inspire production staff to foster a respectful, high-performance culture.

Additional responsibilities include managing materials and inventory to ensure efficient operations. Process improvement and Lean manufacturing exposure are desirable skills.
