Job Title: Test Center Manager

Description:

Pearson VUE is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test Center Manager to join our team in Canberra, ACT. As a Test Center Manager, you will be responsible for administering all aspects of day-to-day testing operations in assigned test centers, ensuring the adherence to strict operational policies and procedures of the examination processes and quality and security measures of Pearson Professional Centers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Administration: Ensure equipment is operational, test stations are free of extraneous materials, and review transmissions logs from software that automatically connects to the hub system periodically.
  • Customer Service: Review test rosters, prepare for candidates, check in candidates, verify identifications, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement: Ensure adherence to Pearson Professional Center quality and security measures, recognize potential areas for improvement, and identify new policies and procedures that need to be developed and shared.
  • Personnel Administration: Screen Test Administrator job applicants, review TA timesheets, and submit draft site staffing schedules to the Regional Manager.
  • Management Support: Serve as the contact point for building management, site security, deliveries, vendors, and escalate issues to the Regional Manager as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Five years of customer service experience required.
  • Exposure in a testing environment strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Windows applications required.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, customer service skills, and ability to work independently.
