As a key member of our team, you will support the development of new flavours by preparing, evaluating and testing samples.

**Key Responsibilities**

Flavour Preparation & Evaluation - Collaborate closely with colleagues to provide timely flavour samples for various labs and functions within the organisation.

Maintain accurate records and documentation in our database software.

Participate in the evaluation of raw materials, new technologies and flavours in food products.

Assist in documenting findings and creating reports.

Environmental Health & Safety - Maintain a clean and well-organised laboratory environment in accordance with EH&S guidelines and good laboratory practices.

**Essential Skills**

Relevant degree in Food Science / Food Technology / Chemical Engineering.

Demonstrated understanding of research documentation protocol.

Knowledge of lab equipment and procedures for handling chemicals used to perform lab functions.

Demonstrate understanding of importance of safety, hygiene and environmental guidelines / requirements in a lab environment.

Ability to accurately prepare flavours in a timely manner.

Collaborate with product evaluations and sensory tests.

Strong tasting skills and ability to effectively describe the profile of the flavour or ingredient.

Collaborate in project and technical meetings to support the successful delivery of customer briefs.
