Job Title: Application Technologist

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Application Technologist to join our dynamic team. As an key player in our Oceania Business, you will play a crucial role in creating success by developing innovative products that meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop business solutions:

    Create and formulate non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages as required from customer briefs and apply knowledge during flavour selection, evaluation, and application development.

  • Maintain flavour performance data:

    Capture profiles and evaluate the performance of flavours in finished products.

  • Maintain a safe working environment:

    Implement EH&S policies and ensure a clean, organized lab environment.

  • Demonstrate leadership:

    Coach, train, and motivate technicians and technologists to achieve their full potential.

  • Impact the bottom line:

    Execute market trends into innovative products for customers and establish effective relationships with internal and external customers.

  • Service customers:

    Undertake customer visits to service customer needs and provide technical support to sales and marketing teams.

You will have strong commercial and marketing acumen, a can-do attitude, and excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills. You will also have a polytechnic or bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field, and 1-2 years of experience in beverage application.
