Government Agency Capital Works Project Manager

Our client, a government agency based in Brisbane, is seeking an additional Principal's Representative to assist with major projects on behalf of the department. Due to increased workload, they require an individual with strong project management skills and relevant qualifications in project, contract, or construction management.
The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of complex capital works projects, acting as a point of reference on buildability and on-site construction management while ensuring project quality and contract deliverables are achieved. You will also assist internal stakeholders and communicate with external project stakeholders, requiring regular project briefs, reporting and submissions.
Key requirements include:
- Strong understanding of project management for public works projects
- Relevant qualification in project, contract, or construction management
- Familiarity with government regulations and Microsoft Programs
This role offers a casual 1-year contracted position within a government agency, potentially leading to extension, with a full-time temporary position paying A08 rate + super.
