The Role

">

This role reports directly to the Global Payroll Manager and involves providing key support in the end-to-end payroll function. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate, streamlined, and efficient processing of payroll across all Megaport international entities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing and processing fortnightly, monthly, and off-cycle payroll for all employees worldwide.
  • Prepare, reconcile, and lodge superannuation and retirement funds while ensuring compliance with state and regional legislation.
  • Review and lodge payroll tax returns.
  • Manage Workcover lodgements in each state and assist with auditors' requests globally.
  • Contribute to the preparation of financial year-end paperwork.
  • Handle internal and external payroll queries and maintain employee leave records.
  • Work closely with the payroll manager to ensure compliance in all registered states and countries.
  • Interpret awards, employment agreements, and individual contracts for various markets.
  • Provide guidance on systems like Deputy, Trinet, ADP, and other internal payroll tools.

  • Ability to execute tasks with minimal supervision and manage competing priorities.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
