Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining Australian payroll, handling payroll enquiries, and resolving any discrepancies promptly. They will also assist with pay run preparations, provide employee movements on a timely basis, and prepare payroll-related calculations such as new hires payments, termination pays, FTE changes, etc.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain Australian payroll emails and handle payroll enquiries and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Assist outsourcer for pay run preparations and provide employee movements on a timely basis.
- Prepare payroll-related calculations such as new hires payments, termination pays, FTE changes, etc.
- Accurately process (via outsource) payroll for 1,000 employees on a monthly basis.
- Pay run variance preparation and checking. Preparation on pay run-related reports.
- Collaborate with HR and finance departments to ensure seamless payroll operations.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records.
- Assist with senior payroll officer with payroll reporting and other payroll-related tasks and projects when required.
- PAYROLL FUNCTION EXPERIENCE IN A CORPORATE ORGANIZATION.
- Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines.
- Experience maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail in previous roles.
- Approachable and friendly manner with a customer orientation focus.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Experience managing a team.
- Knowledge of Preceda an advantage but not essential.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skill.

The estimated salary for this role is $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. This includes a base salary plus superannuation and other benefits.
