Support Specialist for Dual Diagnosis Services

This role requires lived experience of mental health and drug and/or alcohol issues to provide advocacy and support to individuals with a dual diagnosis.
The position involves working closely with the Mental Health Emergency Teams in the Emergency Department to enhance outcomes for these individuals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing advocacy and support to individuals with a dual diagnosis
- Collaborating with the Mental Health Emergency Teams to improve patient outcomes
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders, including liaison with families and/or carers
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Certificate IV in Peer Work or be willing to undertake this certification. You must also meet applicable vaccination requirements and hold a valid NSW Drivers Licence.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with a dual diagnosis and contribute to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.
