Data Analyst Position

The NSW Police Force is seeking a Data Analyst to join its Project Management Office, Technology & Communication Services Command.

Job Description

As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for producing and developing statistical information to enable the production of high-level business analysis and reporting on data and trends across the NSWPF.

This role supports the ICT Financial Sustainability Strategy through data-driven reporting. You will analyse organisational data, identify performance trends, and provide actionable insights that guide strategic planning and investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve data quality, reporting frameworks, and performance indicators;
  • Develop and implement reporting frameworks and performance indicators to enhance transparency and accountability;
  • Analyse organisational data to identify performance trends and risks;
  • Provide actionable insights to inform business decisions and drive improvements;
Requirements:
  • A permanent resident of Australia or a New Zealand citizen;
  • Successful completion of a rigorous National Police (criminal history) Check and obtaining/maintaining a Security Clearance as determined by the NSW Police Force;
