About the Role

The National Property Portfolio Manager will play a key role in supporting the PFD Food Services business by providing strategic advice to grow the trading businesses through the delivery of new facilities and optimization of the existing network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute short, medium, and long-term property strategies to ensure the company's trading businesses are well-positioned for growth.
  • Manage lease agreements to ensure favourable terms and conditions, while maintaining compliance with company standards and procedures.
  • Oversee new construction projects, facility expansions, and ongoing maintenance to ensure assets are optimized for long-term value.
  • Manage budgets, track expenditures, and handle day-to-day lease administration tasks to ensure efficient operations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, landlords, and external partners to achieve project goals and maintain positive relationships.
  • Provide strategic advice to the business on property-related matters, including site selection, lease negotiations, and facility development plans.

Requirements

  • A degree in property or a related field, with extensive experience in industrial/commercial property management and in-depth knowledge of the property market.
  • Proven business acumen with strong financial and strategic planning capabilities.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects concurrently.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and capitalize on commercial opportunities, delivering tangible benefits.
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for innovation and a strong customer focus.
