Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Accountant to join our finance team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for supporting the financial operations of our growing property investment portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accounting and financial reporting support for a portfolio of property funds
  • Investor distribution payment administration and liaison with external registry
  • Modelling, forecasting, scenario, and cashflow planning
  • Maintenance of investment and tax registers and documentation
  • Treasury administration including KYC/AML/CTF and debt compliance
  • Accounting policy and procedure updates and compliance sign-offs and reconciliations
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar
  • CAANZ or CPA qualification
  • Advanced Excel and modelling skills
  • Real estate and fund accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and applications
  • Management reporting and analysis skills
  • Good knowledge of tax compliance requirements in Australia
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Microsoft Dynamics FinOps and Financial Reporter and MYOB
  • Experience with Argus and Estate Master or similar financial modelling programs looked upon favourably
  • The ability to work well with stakeholders, management, banks, external service providers, custodian, registry, auditors, and tax accountants
  • Flexibility to work on projects and manage workload to external and internal deadlines
Salary and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary package, including an estimated annual salary of $80,000 to $110,000, depending on experience. In addition to your base salary, you will receive a range of benefits, including access to professional development opportunities and a dynamic work environment.
