About the Role

In this key position, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of electorate offices across Victoria, ensuring that properties are maintained to the Department's accommodation standards. As a true client-facing role, you will conduct property inspections, provide expert advice to Members of Parliament, electorate officers, and service providers on property-related matters, with a focus on delivering exceptional client service.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a dynamic property or asset management environment, with strong communication and problem-solving skills. You will be comfortable negotiating and interpreting leases, undertaking investigations, and resolving property-related matters, while maintaining confidentiality and dealing with sensitive situations tactfully.

You will also be responsible for monitoring the financial position of the property portfolio, addressing any variances, and producing written reports and correspondence to a high standard. A current driver's license is required for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage lease obligations and ensure properties meet Departmental accommodation standards
  • Conduct property inspections and provide expert advice to stakeholders
  • Negotiate and interpret leases, undertake investigations, and resolve property-related matters
  • Monitor financial performance and address variances
  • Produce written reports and correspondence to a high standard
