Job Description

The Head of Country Banking Credit will lead and manage credit approvals for country banking and major agribusiness clients teams in Australia.

This role involves working with the Regional Head on efficiency, regulatory, reporting, and change management projects.

Responsibilities include challenging and overseeing credit risk appetite within country banking Australia.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Financial, commerce, or accounting tertiary education
  • Proven commercial lending/credit experience
  • Knowledge of Australian country banking industries and related production systems
  • Technical knowledge and understanding of credit risk fundamentals and philosophies
  • Superior credit risk analysis and assessment skills
  • Commercial lending experience
  • High level of financial skills, including ability to analyze balance sheet, profit & loss, and cash flow statements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer literacy, including Word, Excel, and bank's core credit systems
