Your new role
You will be responsible for conducting credit risk assessments across a wide range of transaction types, including M&A, Project Finance, Leveraged Finance, Trade Finance, and general corporate funding. Your coverage will span multiple industries, such as infrastructure, energy, mining, real estate, financial institutions, and natural resources. Key responsibilities include preparing detailed credit due diligence reports, rating recommendations, and ongoing monitoring of credit performance. You'll also liaise with internal business units to facilitate the credit approval process and provide guidance on risk mitigation strategies.
What you'll need to succeed
To thrive in this role, you should:
- Hold a tertiary qualification with at least 5 years of experience in structured transactions, ideally in an analytical capacity.
- Be capable of writing comprehensive due diligence reports, including business model analysis, cash flow assessment, financial modelling, and industry comparisons.
- Have strong knowledge of banking products, particularly in project and structured finance.
- Be proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
- Be independent, decisive, and able to identify risks while proposing practical solutions.
