Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate physiotherapist contractor to provide quality care and support to individuals with disabilities.

The successful candidate will have experience working with people with physical impairments and a strong understanding of rehabilitation goals and objectives.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to determine participants' physical level of function and capacity.
  • Developing tailored treatment plans to help participants achieve their goals.
  • Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions to promote independence and well-being.
  • Providing advice and guidance on adaptations to the environment to support participants' needs.
  • Recommending assistive technology solutions to enhance participants' quality of life.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a physiotherapist.
  • Experience working with people with physical impairments and a strong understanding of rehabilitation principles.
  • Relevant insurance, including public liability, professional indemnity, and comprehensive car insurance.
  • A police clearance, Working with Children Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • An active Australian Business Number (ABN).
