Job Description

The organisation is recruiting a seasoned program manager to oversee a diverse range of therapeutic services.

This critical role plays a key part in ensuring the effectiveness and sustainability of trauma-informed programs that support women experiencing domestic and family violence, mental health challenges, and complex life circumstances.

  • Lead strategic delivery of therapeutic services.
  • Provide clinical leadership, risk oversight, and service quality assurance.
  • Supervise and support a multidisciplinary team of professionals.
  • Drive innovation, continuous improvement, and evidence-based practice.
Key Responsibilities:

As Program Manager, you will play a leading role in ensuring the effectiveness and sustainability of trauma-informed programs. This includes:

  • Developing and implementing strategic plans to deliver high-quality therapeutic services.
  • Providing expert clinical leadership and supervision to a multidisciplinary team.
  • Leading on risk management and quality assurance initiatives.
  • Strengthening partnerships with community stakeholders to promote holistic care.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in psychology, counselling, social work, or a related field.
  • Significant experience in program management and clinical leadership within DFSV services.
  • Strong clinical skills, particularly in trauma, domestic/family violence, and mental health.
  • Experience working with diverse communities and marginalised groups.
  • Excellent team leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Training in the Safe and Together Model.
  • Experience in a feminist or not-for-profit environment.
