Supply Chain Manager Job Overview

This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives on creating positive change. As the Director of Supply Chain Operations, you will lead the development and implementation of supply chain strategies to drive efficiency and business growth.

You will work closely with operations, sales, and site leaders across multiple sites nationally, bringing efficiency, collaboration, and structure to the group. With autonomy and support from senior leadership, this is an opportunity to shape the future of supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to drive efficiency and business growth.
  • Lead supplier management and contract negotiations across logistics, warehousing, and related services.
  • Oversee demand planning, forecasting, imports/exports, and inventory optimisation.
  • Collaborate with sites to centralise minimise third-party warehousing and distribution.
  • Use ERP systems (SAP) to monitor performance, track KPIs, and improve processes.
Requirements:
  • Experience in supply chain or logistics management (manufacturing/distribution preferred).
  • Strong skills in supplier management and contract negotiation.
  • Hands-on, collaborative leader who coaches and influences stakeholders.
  • Ability to implement structure and processes in a dynamic environment.
  • Tertiary qualification in business, supply chain, or logistics highly regarded.
  • International export experience advantageous.
