Senior Geology Consultant Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Geology Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our consultancy, you will be responsible for providing expert geological advice and guidance to clients across the globe.

Your primary focus will be on geological modeling, including working with a range of commodities primarily metals. You will have extensive experience with mining and geostatistical software, preferably Datamine, Isatis, Supervisor and Leapfrog.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent project management skills, as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills. You will also be expected to act as a Competent Person, as defined by the JORC Code, in several commodities.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in Geology with post-graduate qualifications well regarded
  • A minimum of 15 years to 20 years of practical experience relevant to the responsibilities listed above
  • Membership of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, Australian Institute of Geoscientists or other similar industry recognized professional organisation
