Job Title: Senior Geological Expert

This is a Perth based role with frequent travel to site. As a Principal Resource Geologist, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with international geological reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out 3D geological modelling and geostatistical analysis to an appropriate level required for resource estimation purposes.
  • Manage QA/QC processes for resource data and modelling across all projects.
  • Collaborate with Exploration teams to plan efficient and effective drill programmes for resource definition.
  • Undertake thorough geological due diligence and evaluation of Mineral Resources for exploration and growth initiatives.
  • Sign off as Competent Person for Mineral Resources where required.
  • Deliver comprehensive, accurate and timely estimates of company Mineral Resources.
Requirements:
  • Hold a Tertiary qualification in Geology or a recognised equivalent degree.
  • Possess at least 8 years' experience in Exploration or Mine Geology with 5+ years' experience in resource estimation.
  • Have extensive experience working in Gold mining environments.
  • Display strong report writing and communication skills.
  • Experience in exploration and resource definition of Archean Gold and Copper deposits is highly desirable.
  • Be highly competent in using MS Office, Leapfrog Edge, Surpac and/or Datamine-based resource modelling and estimation tools.
