Senior Geological Consultant

We are seeking an experienced geology professional to establish a Resource Geology Practice and provide leadership in geological modelling, resource estimation, and mineral reporting services. This role is part of our European-Australian Mining Group, which works together with private and public-sector clients.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to develop business opportunities, lead geological modelling efforts, and hire, manage, train, and mentor staff.
This position requires field work and overnight travel may be required. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on challenging technical projects and expand the company's current practices and capabilities.
Education and Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in geology or engineering geology (required)
- Advanced degree in a related field of study (preferred)
- Professional registration (e.g. CGeol) (required)
- High standard of technical geological knowledge across a broad range of commodities
- At least 10 years of experience working in a consulting environment (required)
- A strong track record in business development and client relationships (required)
- Significant experience performing and leading Mineral Resource Estimation and reporting services (required)
- Ability to act as QP/CP in accordance with international standards (e.g. NI 43-101, JORC) (required)
