  • Leading and mentoring a team of geologists and contractors to deliver on daily plans while meeting operational and safety targets.
  • Driving team performance by providing accurate, predictive geological models to maximise recovery and minimise dilution.
  • Overseeing and enhancing grade control reconciliation processes (daily to annual).
  • Championing near-mine and in-mine exploration programs to support Life of Mine extension and resource growth - both RC and Diamond drilling.
  • Ensuring the integrity and reliability of geological mapping, modelling, and reporting systems.
  • Applying strategic insight and technical expertise to reduce geological risk and improve model confidence.
  • Fostering a culture of safety, innovation, and excellence in geological operations.

About You:

  • Proven leadership capability with experience motivating high-performing geology teams.
  • A degree in Geology or a related discipline.
  • Strong background in open pit gold mining, with expertise in mine geology, grade control, resource estimation, and extensional exploration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and geological software (e.g., Datamine, Leapfrog).
  • A passion for safety, continuous improvement, and building a performance-driven culture.

We're seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Geologist. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of geologists and contractors to deliver on daily plans while meeting operational and safety targets. You will also be responsible for driving team performance by providing accurate, predictive geological models to maximise recovery and minimise dilution.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in open pit gold mining, with expertise in mine geology, grade control, resource estimation, and extensional exploration. They will also have proficiency in Microsoft Office and geological software (e.g., Datamine, Leapfrog). A passion for safety, continuous improvement, and building a performance-driven culture is essential.
