About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and skilled geologist to take on a key role in optimizing geological understanding of the deposit through underground mapping and sampling.

  • Mining Direction: Provide accurate and effective mining direction to maximize ore recovery by applying sound geological principles and technical knowledge.
  • Stope and Airleg Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections to ensure safe and efficient operations, minimizing ore loss and dilution.
Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating and conducting geological surveys and sampling programs to inform mine planning and optimization strategies.
  • Developing and maintaining geological models to support mine planning and resource estimation.
  • Liaising with stakeholders to ensure that geological information is communicated effectively and efficiently.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Geology or a related field.
  • A current C-class WA driver's license.
  • Good physical health and ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a small team.
