The Allied Health Metabolic Clinic seeks a skilled psychologist to provide specialized support services for individuals considering bariatric surgery.
Main Responsibilities:- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care and improve health outcomes for consumers.
- Evaluate readiness for bariatric surgery and develop tailored interventions to support patients in their metabolic journey.
- Tertiary qualification approved by the Psychology Board of Australia.
- Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
- Area of Practice Endorsement such as Clinical Psychology, Health Psychology, etc.
- Opportunity to work in a dynamic multidisciplinary team environment.
- Chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of consumers.
- Prior experience working in complex medical environments providing psychological services for patients with metabolic/bariatric needs.
- Endorsement as a Health Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist by the Psychology Board of Australia.
