Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sales Representative to join our team and develop new business opportunities as well as maintain key client relationships throughout the Melbourne region. The successful candidate will have a strong background in sales, a passion for developing new business, and the ability to maintain strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales and Business Development
    • Develop and implement a territory action plan through comprehensive data analysis and adjust sales techniques based on interactions and results in the field.
    • Identify new business opportunities with prospective customers and develop an in-depth customer understanding to identify areas Vendito can bring greatest value to grow our business share.
  • Client Relationships
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, including engineers, architects, interior designers, and more.
    • Provide product presentations to customers and offer appropriate lighting solutions to meet their expectations.
  • Product Knowledge
    • Develop an in-depth understanding of Vendito's product portfolio and be able to convert technical features into customer benefits.

Requirements

  • Experience
    • At least 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the lighting industry.
  • Skills
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Proficient in data analysis and sales techniques.
  • Education
    • Degree in a related field, such as business or marketing.
