Lighting Artist Opportunity

Fin Design + Effects is seeking experienced Lighting Artists to join our team in Sydney. As a Lighting Artist, you will be responsible for creating stunning lighting and look development for our clients' projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with CG Supervisors and VFX Supervisors to develop the final look of computer-generated objects and scenes
  • Design and create lighting and look development for complex shots
  • Work closely with texture and groom artists to achieve the best results
  • Mentor junior artists within the Lighting/Look Dev team
Requirements
  • Proven experience in lighting and rendering within a VFX environment
  • Strong understanding of modern shading models and PBR
  • Ability to write plug-ins, set-up sequences, and debug simulations
  • Proficiency in Maya, Houdini, and Redshift
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
