Job Summary:

Industrial Light & Magic is seeking a highly skilled Visual Effects Artist to join our team. As a Visual Effects Artist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality motion graphics and computer-generated imagery for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop complex visual effects, including 3D models, textures, and lighting.
  • Collaborate with other artists and directors to ensure that visual effects meet the project's creative vision.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of proficiency in various software programs, including Maya and proprietary tools.
  • Mentor and assist junior artists in developing their skills and knowledge.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in visual effects technology.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Fine Arts, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in visual effects, motion graphics, or a related field.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Maya and proprietary software programs.
  • Strong understanding of computer-generated imagery and motion graphics principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
