**Job Title:** Education Cluster Lead

We are seeking an experienced area manager to lead a cluster of Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) businesses in the Ballarat, Geelong & Western Suburbs of VIC.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proven people management professional with leadership skills and experience in managing teams in the childcare or education sector. As Education Cluster Lead, you will have a strong track record of delivering results-driven solutions and be passionate about supporting working families. You will enjoy a dynamic work environment where your expertise is valued and utilized to drive business success.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage OSHC teams in schools
  • Oversee all aspects of service management including staff management, program design support, business management, and motivating and managing teams
  • Conduct Educator appraisals
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with educators, principals, school staff, parents, regulatory authorities, and suppliers
  • Prepare and support educators for Assessment and Rating reviews
  • Monthly reporting

Candidate Requirements:

  • Past people management experience in childcare is a strong advantage
  • Demonstrated area management or remote team management experience is favourable
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain excellent relationships internally and externally
  • Proven past success in management in any sector with the ability to demonstrate measurable outcomes
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Current VIC Working with Children's Check, First Aid HLTAID012, and Child Protection Training or are willing to obtain
  • Current driver's license and own car (travel allowance provided)
  • Completed a Diploma or above in Child Care, Education, Community Services, or equivalent
