Maintenance Technician Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team based near Lithgow. As the successful applicant, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating the plant and equipment at the water treatment plant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain fixed plant equipment by undertaking preventive, corrective, and breakdown tasks.
  • Execute production tasks including inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
  • Participate in team and department plans to optimize operational performance.
  • Contribute to a safety-first and continuous improvement culture.
  • Induct contractors and supervise their work, where required.

Requirements:

  • Trade qualifications for either Mechanical Fitter, Diesel Fitter, or Electrical, or background working on industrial equipment.
  • Experience in general plant operations would be highly regarded.
  • Willingness to obtain a cert 3 in water treatment (supported).
