Plant Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team in Sydney, where they will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and operation of the water treatment plant and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and address process issues on a daily basis.
  • Assess plant operations and provide support with maintenance, optimisation, monitoring, and reporting on plant status or condition.
  • Supervise and train other technicians.
  • Respond to alarms generated by SCADA systems.
  • Troubleshoot problems with plant, equipment, and processes.
  • Drive improvement and efficiency to ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Trade qualification.
  • Experience in maintaining industrial mechanical and/or electrical equipment.
  • Knowledge of water treatment engineering practices is highly desirable.
