We are seeking a seasoned Sports and Programs Team Leader to spearhead the development of quality sport and lifestyle programs for all age groups at our award-winning facility.

This dynamic individual will coordinate and deliver programs while leading the team in creating a customer-centric environment. They will build strong relationships with community members, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and ensure exceptional service delivery.

  • A comprehensive understanding of sports and programs offered within a recreation centre setting is essential.
  • Exceptional leadership abilities are required, including inspiring and motivating team members, setting clear goals, and providing guidance and support.
  • Strong organisational skills are necessary for effective planning, coordination, and management of tasks and team activities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required for conveying information, providing feedback, and maintaining open lines of communication with team members and external stakeholders.
  • Promoting and marketing programs/services in an innovative way that drives growth is desirable.
  • A tertiary qualification in Business, Recreation, or equivalent level of experience is preferred.
