About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and experienced leader to join our team as a Sports Programs Coordinator.

You will be responsible for coordinating and delivering quality sport and lifestyle programs for all age groups at our recreation centre. You will lead the sports team in creating a customer-centric environment, building strong relationships with community members, and ensuring continuous improvement to service delivery.

About You

  1. A thorough understanding of sports and programs offered within a recreation centre setting.
  2. Exceptional leadership abilities by inspiring and motivating team members, setting clear goals, and providing guidance and support.
  3. Strong organisational skills to effectively plan, coordinate, and manage both your own tasks, and that of your team.
  4. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information, provide feedback, and maintain open lines of communication with team members and external stakeholders.
  5. Innovative ways to promote and market programs/services.
  6. Tertiary qualification in Business, Recreation, or equivalent level of experience.
  7. First Aid Certificate, Police Clearance and Driver's Licence.
