Sports and Programs Coordinator Role

This position is an opportunity to work in a customer-centric environment, delivering quality sport and lifestyle programs for all age groups. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and leading the Sports and Programs Team in creating a positive experience for community members.

About the Job

The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of sports and programs offered within a recreation centre setting, with excellent leadership abilities to inspire and motivate team members. Strong organisational skills are essential to effectively plan, coordinate, and manage both individual tasks and team activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A tertiary qualification in Business, Recreation, or an equivalent level of experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of sports and programs offered within a recreation centre setting.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a focus on inspiring and motivating team members.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey information and maintain open lines of communication.
  • Experience promoting and marketing programs/services in an innovative way.
