Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced HR professional to join our team in a key role. As a crucial member of the HR department, you will provide strategic advice and guidance on employee relations and industrial relations matters, while also developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.

The Role

  • Provide expert advice and guidance on employee relations and industrial relations matters to managers and employees.
  • Lead a team of HR professionals, providing direction, coaching, and support.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with best practice and organizational objectives.
  • Support the wider HR team in recruitment, learning and development, and performance management.
  • Ensure all HR activities are aligned with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.
  • BUILD EFFECTIVE RELATIONSHIPS WITH KEY STAKEHOLDERS, INCLUDING SENIOR MANAGERS, EMPLOYEES, AND EXTERNAL SERVICE PROVIDERS.
  • Monitor and report on HR metrics, including staff turnover, absence rates, and recruitment costs.

About You

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar HR role, with experience in ER and IR.
  • A strong commercial acumen, with the ability to understand business objectives and align HR strategy accordingly.
  • A thorough understanding of HR policies and procedures, including employment legislation and best practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with people at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team of HR professionals.
