Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Transport Operations Coordinator to join our team in ensuring the efficient management of bus services.

  • Closely monitor bus service performance using real-time support systems and implement measures to minimize delays.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and restore service after disruptions.
  • Foster effective collaboration with drivers, mechanics, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and enhance operational efficiency.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Monitor On-Time-Running (OTR) of the bus fleet and maintain contractual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Utilize the TRBOnet radio system to communicate with drivers and respond to requests effectively.
  • Clarify information obtained by drivers and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Coordinate with mechanical staff regarding breakdowns and faults, and arrange necessary repairs or replacements.
  • In the event of major incidents, escalate them to relevant parties and facilitate passenger transfers as needed.
  • Coordinate regional and special event services, including dispatching vehicles and managing passenger loads efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding safety issues, hazards, and instructions.
  • Review documentation and provide input on potential service impacts.
