Compliance Professional

This role reports directly to the Head of Compliance and offers a unique opportunity for professional growth in a highly regulated environment.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial services and compliance, regulatory, or another control function. Strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities are required to interact with various business areas and stakeholders.

  1. Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure ongoing compliance with all regulatory requirements and international standards.
  2. Work with the Compliance Assurance Officer to monitor the control assurance testing plan and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
  3. Compile comprehensive compliance reports and updates for senior leaders and stakeholders.
  4. Conduct thorough risk assessments and reviews, identifying potential risks and implementing remediation processes.
  5. Provide expert advice on compliance and risk frameworks, supporting business units in their strategic planning and decision-making processes.

Key qualifications include:

  • At least 5 years' experience in financial services and compliance, regulatory, or another control function.
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, such as Law, Commerce, or Accounting.
  • Strong understanding of the financial services industry, including knowledge of regulators and current regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across different business areas and stakeholders.
