Key Responsibilities
  • Apply advanced clinical expertise to support multidisciplinary teams in positive behaviour support and restrictive practices reduction/elimination strategies.
  • Lead clinical practice, including mentoring and supervision, to ensure best-in-class outcomes.
  • Contribute education on restrictive practices use, reduction and elimination to the disability services sector.
  • Maintain restrictive practice usage through timely advice and reporting.
Requirements
  • Satisfactory completion of an approved allied health professional qualification at a recognised tertiary institution.
  • Registration with relevant National Boards or full membership with relevant professional associations.
  • Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Registration and NDIS Endorsement (or capability to acquire).
