Salary and Benefits

Award/Classification Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement, Allied Health Professional, Level 4

Salary $123,717 to $134,336 pro rata, per annum

Details Of Appointment Fixed term part time, shift worker position (including weekends), working 38 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 2 January 2027.

Salary Packaging/Allowances You'll have access to a salary package including a range of benefits such as living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year, with eligibility criteria. Access to salaries beyond $130,900 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme. Market allowance of $10,000 per annum pro rata is approved until 17 May 2026, and Professional Development Allowance of up to $1,000 per annum (subject to conditions).

Other Benefits Travel and relocation assistance up to $15,000 for overseas appointees and up to $10,000 for interstate appointees; a Fitness Passport (40+ facilities) for you and family at a weekly rate; various leave entitlements including study leave and professional development support.

Job Description

The Clinical Pharmacy team is a dynamic, multidisciplinary group based at Launceston General Hospital, delivering innovative, patient-centred care across inpatient and outpatient settings. The team collaborates with medical, nursing, and allied health professionals to ensure safe and effective medication management. The Team Leader – Clinical Pharmacy acts as an expert in clinical pharmacy services, providing advice and support on a broad range of issues to internal and external stakeholders, and participates as a member of the Tasmanian clinical pharmacy management team. The role provides leadership in the design, operation, and evaluation of clinical pharmacy services, policy review, training and project work as required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team in inpatient and outpatient settings.
