Workforce Management Specialist

The role of the Workforce Management Specialist is to manage and administer a time and attendance system, ensuring efficient management and compliance with labour laws. This includes configuring the system, conducting user testing, and deploying business process solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Timekeeping and Attendance Management: Manage and maintain accurate timekeeping data, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and provide support to employees and managers regarding timekeeping issues.
  • System Administration: Configure and test features within the workforce management system to ensure they meet business requirements, function properly, and integrate seamlessly with other HR and Payroll systems.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze time and attendance data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement, generate regular and ad-hoc reports on attendance, overtime, absenteeism, and other key metrics.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement within timekeeping and attendance management, collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement changes that enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and improve overall system functionality.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to users across the organisation, including troubleshooting system issues and offering training sessions on the workforce management system.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Qualifications: Relevant qualifications and experience in timekeeping, payroll, or workforce management roles, preferably using UKG WFM or similar systems.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience in timekeeping, payroll, or workforce management roles, preferably using UKG WFM or similar systems.
  • Leadership Competencies: Ability to lead and influence change by advocating for system improvements, fostering user adoption, and managing resistance to new processes and technologies.
  • Functional Skills and Competencies: Strong data analysis skills, practical experience with UKG WFM or similar workforce management systems, comprehensive understanding of payroll cycles, leave accruals, overtime tracking, and other time and attendance processes.
