About the Role

We are seeking a skilled IAM Lead Engineer to join our Identity and Access Management (IAM) Team in the Banking and Financial Services business at Macquarie. You will play a key role in building and maintaining distributed systems that provide Identity and API gateway services using industry best practices.


Responsibilities:



  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality monitoring and alerting tools for IAM systems.
  • Automate delivery processes and ensure continuous uptime for client-facing services.
  • Provide on-call support and contribute to architecture, design, development, testing, and operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver incremental improvements in iterative cycles.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest IAM technologies and best practices.

About You

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in IAM principles, access governance, and role-based access control. You should also be experienced in IAM technologies such as identity providers, directory services, SSO protocols, and security access policies. Additionally, you should have hands-on experience with IBM Security Access Management (ISAM) and/or IBM Security Verify.


Requirements:



  • Proficiency in cloud formation configuration and experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Experience with Web and API technologies, including REST, HTTP, and API gateway proxies.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery pipelines and Configuration management tools.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker.
