Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Shopping Centre Manager to join our team and drive the retail property business of a well-regarded developer in Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the presentation, maintenance, and management of all buildings to ensure a high standard of presentation at all times.
  • Manage all expenditure and restrict unnecessary outflows of funds.
  • Communicate frequently with tenants and the landlord/client, providing timely, relevant, and professional advice on the management of the retail property.
  • Drive the leasing of the centre by managing relationships with external Leasing Executives and developing strategies.
  • Ensure all leases and documentation are fully executed and recorded in property information management systems.
  • Supervise tenancy fit-outs to ensure consistency and compliance with building objectives.
  • Provide recommendations and conduct negotiations relating to rent reviews, lease renewals, and leasing, as required.
  • Regularly inspect the building to ensure high housekeeping standards and coordinate minor works within the management function.
  • Prepare monthly and annual narrative reports, including financial data, variances to budget, arrears, vacant space, details of expenditure, contractors' performance, defects, and remedial actions.

Requirements
  • Experience in the Shopping Centre industry, preferably as a Shopping Centre Manager or Retail Manager.
  • Strong client-oriented approach with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
  • Capacity to handle multiple matters and meet deadlines independently.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting and managing end-of-month financials.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, contributing value to the team.
Estimated Salary

A competitive salary of around $100,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
