Jones Lang LaSalle (NSW) Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to join our team. This exciting opportunity will see you working in the heart of Sydney, overseeing two prominent shopping centres on the lower North Shore.

About the Role

This key position requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record in facilities management and operations. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the properties, including maintenance activities, capital works, and tenancy delivery.

Your primary focus will be on maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all visitors and occupants, as well as ensuring the presentation of the property meets the highest standards. You will work closely with contractors and other stakeholders to achieve these goals.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and make informed decisions. Strong initiative and a proactive approach are essential in this role, as you will need to anticipate and manage ongoing changes affecting facilities management.

A clear understanding of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) policies and risk management principles is a must, along with relevant experience in property, facilities management, and operations management in a retail or shopping centre environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervising the activities of engaged contractors to ensure a suitable environment for customers, staff, tenants, and confirming all services comply with WH&S policies.
  • Establishing quality standards for the sites, meeting and exceeding customer and retailer expectations.
  • Managing annual budgets and reports.
  • Providing a detailed 10-year Capex program that validates annual program and informs the owner of long-range funding requirements.
  • Developing and implementing a strategy to minimize customer and retailer disruption during development.
  • Monitoring site fit-outs.
  • Environmental management.
  • Management of essential services.
  • Working effectively in a team environment ensuring consistency and support to all colleagues and our client as required.
What We Offer
