Hotel Operations Manager

Skilled Jobs Australia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Office Manager to join our team. As a Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the hotel's front office operations, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and a memorable experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Front Office Operations: Manage the front office team to achieve a reputation as a market leader in individualized customer-focused service.
- Reservations and Guest Arrivals: Ensure that room allocations and check-in/check-out processes follow set procedures and are customer and quality-focused.
- Sales and Marketing: Drive sales and marketing targets within the front office team based on key deliverables set by the sales department.
- Front Office Systems: Utilize the front office system to ensure accuracy in use and produce a range of accurate reports to meet operational needs.
- Lobby Services: Supervise lobby services to ensure guest arrivals and departures are as efficient as possible.
- Maintenance: Regularly liaise with maintenance to ensure maintenance requests are completed quickly, focusing on guest needs as a priority.
- Night Audit: Operate an effective night audit function, receivables, and reporting, with accuracy and attention to detail being paramount while maintaining customer focus.
- Reporting: Prepare front office recurring reports, commenting on key performance indicators.
- Support Functions: Support housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room cleanliness standards are maintained while meeting productivity goals.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in hotel operations, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Salary: $85,000 - $90,000 + super
