We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Internal Auditor to join our team at the CAR Group. As a key member of our Internal Audit function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our risk management and governance processes.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver High-Quality Audit Reviews: Conduct thorough and timely audit reviews to identify control findings and provide recommendations to management to improve processes and reduce risks.
- Oversee Co-Source Auditors: Ensure that co-source auditors deliver high-quality work and meet deadlines, while maintaining a collaborative and supportive working relationship.
- Follow Up on Audit Issues: Timely follow up on audit issues and work closely with management to ensure that actions address identified risks and control weaknesses.
- Evaluate Governance and Risk Frameworks: Evaluate the effectiveness of our governance, risk, and control frameworks across the CAR Group, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations.
- Build Strong Stakeholder Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, communicating internal audit outcomes clearly and effectively.
- Support Audit Committee Reporting: Assist the Head of Internal Audit in producing Audit Committee reports and other key management reporting, ensuring that our findings and recommendations are presented in a clear and concise manner.
- Proven Experience: Proven experience in conducting effective risk-based assurance activities in a global complex business environment.
- Analytical and Innovative Thinking: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and identify root causes, with a focus on continuous learning and process improvement.
- Exceptional Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills, combined with commercial thinking and the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
- Qualifications and Certifications: Qualification in a relevant discipline, with professional accreditation such as CA/CPA and/or CIA.
- Travel Requirements: Ability to travel to our international business locations across the globe, as required.
