Oracle Database Architect Lead

We are seeking an experienced technical lead to oversee the migration of Oracle databases to Azure Exadata. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle database architecture, with expertise in RAC, Data Guard, ASM, and multitenancy.

A highly skilled database architect is required to manage the migration process from initial planning to successful deployment. Key responsibilities include defining the technical architecture for Oracle DB migrations, collaborating with solution architects to translate business requirements into scalable migration architectures, and providing hands-on leadership in designing, validating, and optimizing Oracle DB configurations.

Key skills for this role include 8+ years of relevant experience in Oracle DB architecture, deep knowledge of Oracle 11gR2, 12c, and 19c, particularly on Exadata platforms, as well as expertise in RAC, Data Guard, ASM, and multitenancy, with proven performance tuning skills.

Requirements:
  • Lead the technical design and implementation of Oracle DB migrations to Azure Exadata
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and standards for Oracle DB migrations
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Oracle database technology and best practices
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and migration tools
