Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Maintenance Officer.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the maintenance department, including:

  • Maintaining all resort rooms and amenities to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
  • Managing inventories effectively to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
  • Caring for equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure seamless operations.
  • Executing the resort's preventative maintenance program to prolong the lifespan of assets.

This role also involves maintaining the resort grounds and gardens, and assisting with some housekeeping duties as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate previous experience in a similar role (maintenance and grounds/gardens) to ensure transferable skills.
  • Understand basic Occupational Health & Safety principles and chemical handling to guarantee a safe working environment.
  • Exhibit excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills to tackle complex issues.
  • Interact with owners and guests in a polite and friendly manner to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Work a flexible roster, including weekends, school, and public holiday periods, to accommodate the needs of the business.
