The Residential Services Admissions Officer plays a vital role in supporting admissions to residential care, ensuring a smooth transition into care for residents. This includes preparing admission applications and completing residential care agreements.
Key Responsibilities:- Support residents and families throughout the admissions process, providing clear guidance on requirements, assessments, and financial obligations.
- Maintain accurate waiting lists, respite admissions, and statistics related to residential services.
- Assist with asset assessments to determine financial status and collaborate with business managers on financial matters.
- Coordinate meetings with clients, facilitate facility viewings, and manage admissions with nursing directors or managers.
- Cultivate relationships with social workers, case managers, and health information services to ensure timely and accurate admissions.
- Provide expert guidance to finance teams and ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
- Proven experience in customer service, with a focus on resident support and family liaison.
- Familiarity with residential care processes, legislation, and admission protocols.
- Strong organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer-based systems.
