Our Group Audit and Assurance team provides independent and objective assurance of the effectiveness of the Group's risk management, controls, and governance processes. The Retail Banking Services audit team covers a range of products and services, including Home Buying, Customer Engagement and Digital, Bankwest, Wealth and Private, Customer Service Network, Customer Service Direct, Consumer Finance, Customer Service Lending, Everyday Banking, and the Chief Controls Office.

As a Senior Audit Manager, your responsibilities will include leading the development and execution of the internal audit plan focused on RBS, conducting risk-based audits to assess the effectiveness of RBS controls, ensuring audits align with local and international regulatory requirements and standards, and collaborating with Line 1 and Line 2 teams.

You will also be responsible for drafting issues, agreeing factual accuracy and ratings with Internal Audit Executive Manager and key stakeholders, preparing simple and easy-to-read audit reporting, supporting the QA Program, utilising analytics during audits/reviews, presenting audit findings to stakeholders, and participating in RBS related risk committees.

Your experience should include strong internal audit and compliance frameworks, preferred managerial experience of SME audit teams, excellent project management and organisational skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, and strong relationship and stakeholder management skills.
