Mental Health Care Specialist for Older Adults

Job Description:
An exciting opportunity exists for mental health professionals to provide specialist assessment, diagnosis, care coordination, and treatment in a dynamic multidisciplinary team environment.
The Older Persons Community Mental Health Service provides recovery-oriented, trauma-informed care for people aged 65 and over.
Key Responsibilities:- Clinical Expertise: Current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration as a Registered Nurse or equivalent.
- Patient-Centered Care: Providing high-quality, person-centered care that is recovery-focused and trauma-informed.
- Triage and Assessment: Safe and effective triage, assessment, risk assessment and care planning.
